Enerprof is related to two other companies focused on construction equipment, and was specifically incorporated as a means to diversify into other sectors. Tasked with heading this new company, Owen made the decision to enter the waste management industry, and started off by securing regional distribution rights for aerobic food waste digesters from BioHiTech America. The food waste division of Enerprof has started to mature and was one of the finalists for “Most Green Collaboration” category in the 2017 Singapore International Chamber of Commerce Awards. The company is also the main Singapore distributor for Mobile Garbage Bins from Contenur and has in-house developed an IoT-based ultrasonic bin fill-level sensor to provide in-depth insights into waste collection practices. As a whole, Owen aims to position Enerprof as the trusted equipment provider for the waste management industry by relying on the twin pillars of product and service excellence.
