Dr. Ing. Poonsak Chanchampee

Poonsak Chanchampee is a Senior Director of  Environmental and Business Development of Waste Management Siam Co., Ltd.- a leading waste management company in Southeast Asia Region and also a subsidiary of Dowa Eco System Co., Ltd. (Japan). He received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Khonkaen University and Environmental engineering from Chiang Mai University in Thailand. He obtained Ph.D. in Waste Management from Technical University of Berlin, Germany. He has been involved in the area of waste managmeent for over 25 years in both governmental and private sector. He is a pioneer to apply Decision Support Tools e.g. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to suport waste management policy making in Thailand. His expertise also includes energy recovery from waste, material recycling, organic waste recycling, landfilling, and project management.
